To build tla-1.2 as a debian-woody package, simply extract debian.tar.bz2 to the top-level of your extracted tla-1.2 source-tree and type: ./debian/rules build fakeroot ./debian/rules/binary This builds tla and newer diff && diff3 which are put into the package in a nonstandard location (/usr/share/tla) (and tla uses them instead of the normal system ones) You can also find a prebuilt package for i386 here (Which also includes the diffutils). If you want to use tla on Solaris, you can use my Solaris PKGs available at: http://www.blastwave.org/ Michael Gernoth
