Welcome to the homepage of the computer labs (CIP-Pools) of the Department of Computer Science at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. You can find most of our computer labs in the blue Computer-Science-Building located in Martensstrasse 3, 91058 Erlangen.
Remote registration and password reset via IdM login is possible for students at https://account.cip.cs.fau.de/.
Members of Staff have to undergo a manual registration procedure.
Changes to Printing
The printing setup will be changed as of September 26, 2025. From then on, credit in your RRZE printing account will be required, and printing will be possible via the print dialog of each application. Commands will then no longer be necessary.

CIP client dist-upgrade on 2025-09-18
On 2025-09-18, all CIP clients will be updated from Debian Bookworm to Trixie. All CIP pools will have at least partial downtime on this day.

Due to the German Collegiate Programming Contest CIP1(01.155-113) and CIP1-N(01.155N-113) will be closed all day on 2025-07-06.
